SD19 Candidate Obi Ezeadi Embarks on Final Leg of Dynamic Listening Tour
May 10, 2024
Westminster, Colorado – There’s still time to catch the tail end of Obi Ezeadi, the second Black city councilor in Westminster’s 110-year history, spring listening tour. The tour is happening now through June 22.
Ahead of the June primary election for Senate District 19, Ezeadi is making his way through various parks, neighborhoods, and favorite local spots all over the Westminster and Arvada areas. What started as visits to local senior centers to prioritize the voices of our aging community earlier this year has formally expanded to a full-on listening tour.
And there’s still time to join him for the last leg of the tour! Catch Ezeadi’s next one, which will happen on May 11th, at Pandora's Box in Westminster, where the focus will be on how he plans to shape downtown Westminster as the center of culture and commerce.
Each spot on the listening tour deals with a different and relevant issue that residents are combating today. From protecting our parks and community well-being to protecting your right to read, learn, and love on your teams, join Ezeadi for a new conversation each time. Bring your thoughts, questions, and concerns to the Ezeadi team, so your voice is heard in the next election!
Ezeadi recently received an overwhelming 60% majority during the Colorado Democratic multi-county assembly over candidate Lindsey Daugherty for State Senate District 19, the hotly contested open seat currently held by Sen. Rachel Zenzinger. With the backing of over 140+ volunteers and over 1,000 individual donations, Ezeadi’s campaign is heavily fueled by countless constituents who are ready to see a non-traditional kind of candidate representing them.
Local residents can vote and drop off their ballots for the upcoming local primary election once they receive their ballots from the week of June 9, 2024. For more information, check out Ezeadi’s campaign. To schedule an interview with Councilman Ezeadi, please contact bcgannett@comcast.net.
